SLC – Salt Lake City International Airport Parking
Salt Lake City International (SLC) is one of the busiest airports in the Mountain West. It serves around 21 million passengers a year. Airlines fly out of the airport to 109 nonstop destinations in the US, Canada, France, Japan and Mexico. SLC is a focus city for several major airlines, including Southwest, United, American and JetBlue. It is a hub for Delta Airlines, which operates more flights than any other carrier at SLC.
Its first terminal was built in 1933 and a 3rd runway was added to the field shortly after, making it one of the larger commercial airports in the Mountain West in the early days of commercial aviation. Salt Lake City is a joint civilian military airport and acts as a base for 151st airport refueling wing.
Visitors to Salt Lake City fly into the airport, as do tourists, hikers and skiers traveling to the natural attractions and winter sports resorts around Utah.
The airport can be reached via Amtrak and Greyhound, though a vast majority of fliers come by car via Interstate 80.
