ICT – Wichita Airport Parking
Wichita Mid-Continent Airport (ICT) is one of the largest airports in he US state of Kansas. Despite being the only major airport in the area, it serves only 1.5 million passengers each year. Despite its pint-sized appearance, the airport is known for its user-friendliness and is seen as one of the Midwest’s great connecting airports.
The terminal building is small. There are two concourses. Delta and United both use the airport regularly (mostly relying on their regional affiliates). Most flights are to larger airports like O’Hare, Los Angeles or Atlanta Hartsfield Jackson.
The airport is accessible by car via US Hwy 54/400. The Westside Connector service is a Wichita-based bus service that runs a daily route between the neighborhoods of the city and the airport.
The airport opened in 1954. There have been expansions throughout the years, but one of the largest projects in ICT’s history is currently underway. The plan includes an expanded, modernized ticketing and baggage claim area. The airport’s terminal road will also be updated to handle increased car traffic.
