HPN – White Plains Airport Parking

The Westchester Country Airport (HPN) is located about three miles from White Plains, New York.  It serves the suburbs of New York City and is located along the New York/Connecticut border.  The airport is 33 miles from Manhattan and Downtown New York City.   HPN is used as an alternative to the three busier airports in the New York City area.  AirTran, Cape Air and JetBlue use the airport, as do regional affiliates like American Eagle and Delta Connection.  The airport has one small terminal with only six gates.  Smaller planes use air-stairs (passengers disembark directly on the tarmac).  HPN serves just less 1 million passengers each year.

The airport currently operates at capacity with JetBlue dominating the terminal.  There have been plans to expand the airport, but none of these have come to fruition.  Most passengers reach the airport by car or taxi.  Parking is more expensive here than at New York City’s larger airports and there is a severe lack of parking space in the area.
