FAT – Fresno Airport Parking
Fresno Yosemite International Airport carries the FAA code FAT (for Fresno Air Terminal, its former name) but is affectionately called FYI by many of its users. Fresno sees almost one-and-a-half-million passengers each year. It is known as a green, user-friendly airport. FYI features free wi-fi, a high-tech air traffic control system and solar panels that provide much of its electricity.
Yosemite National Park is 60 miles from the airport. It is the final destination for many of the airport’s passengers. American Airlines, Horizon, Allegiant Air and United Express use the terminal regularly. SkyWest, an affiliate of United an Delta, is the most visible carrier at FYI.
The airport is located near the city, just off of Freeway #180 at the Peach Street exit. Buses (run the local FAX service) run regularly from Downtown Fresno to the airport.
Fresno Yosemite International Airport Short Term Lot
Rates start at $12 per day. This lot is located next to the terminal. Passengers can reach the ticketing and baggage claim areas on foot. The price can be pro-rated for stays less than 24 hours.
FAT Long Term Parking Lot
Rates start at $8 per day for this uncovered self-parking lot on the airport grounds. It is possible to reach to airport on foot while parking in these lots. There is a small lot adjacent to the terminal and additional overflow lots located behind the short term parking garage.
Holiday Inn Fresno Airport
East Clinton Road,
This hotel offers complimentary shuttle service to and from the airport. It is located just outside the airport grounds. Special rates are sometimes available.
