DAY – Dayton Airport Parking

Dayton International Airport (DAY), also known as James Cox International Airport is located nine miles from central Dayton in Vandalia, Ohio.  The airport is the third busiest in Ohio and serves about 3 million passengers each year.  The airport opened originally in the 1930s.  It was a hub for Piedmont Airlines and USAir.  Today, the airport is a major connecting airport.  Most airlines rely on their small regional affiliates to fly from Dayton to larger airports in the Midwest, Southeast and East Coast.  Air Canada currently operates the only international flight at the airport.  DAY is also one of the busiest cargo airports in the world.  Cargo planes account for a bulk of the flights that the airport operates each year.

The airport has 2 concourses (B and C) with a total of 20 gates.  IN recent years, DAY was ranked as one of the top ten fastest growing airports in the US.  There are plans to upgrade the currently closed Concourse D and recently upgrades to air traffic control tower and parking ramp have made this a truly modern airport.
