BUR- Burbank Airport Parking

Bob Hope Airport in Burbank (BUR) is one of the major airports in the Los Angeles Area. Most of its passengers are going to Glendale, Pasadena, and the San Fernando Valley, as well as the city of Los Angeles. In some ways, it is the most convenient L.A. airport. It is much closer to the major tourist attractions in Hollywood than LAX. Most flights that go nonstop to Burbank are from airports on the western coast of the US.The airport has two runways and two terminals. It had a major renovation in 2002 to upgrade the terminals’ amenities, such as food and restrooms.

This is a difficult airport to reach via public transit. There are no city bus routes in the area. But BUR is connected to Downtown LA by the Metrolink’s Ventura County Line. The Amtrak’s Pacific Surfliner can take passengers north to Santa Barbara, and Luis Obispo and south to Downtown Los Angeles, Anaheim, and San Diego. The train station is connected to the airport by shuttle buses, though some passengers prefer to walk to the station.
