BTV – Burlington Airport Parking

Burlington Airport (BTV) is a city-owned airport located 3 miles from central Burlington, Vermont’s biggest city and one of its most popular destinations.  A major decade-long renovation has made this one of New England’s most modern small airports.  The airport serves a little less than a million passengers per year.  There is one terminal building with 15 gates.  Almost all flights into the airport are made by regional affiliates of major carriers (like US Airways, Delta, United and Continental).  All starting points are on the East Coast, except for United affiliates’ flights from O’Hare.  JetBlue is the only major carrier to fly directly to BVT.

There are two runways at the airport.  They are used by commercial flights and general aviation flights and by the military.  The Burlington Air National Guard Base regularly flies F-16 fighters into and out of BVT.  The US Army also flies planes out of the airport on support missions.
