BDL – Hartford Bradley Airport Parking

Hartford, Connecticut’s Bradley International Airport (BDL) is a busy but small East Coast airport.  It serves more than 5 million passengers each year.  Delta Airlines flies almost one-fifth of all Bradley’s passengers.  Southwest also has a major presence at the airport.

Bradley has two terminals.  Most people fly into the domestic terminal (Terminal A).  This building has two concourses with a total of 22 gates.  Terminal B is where international flights arrive.  There are plans to upgrade Terminal B to increase the capacity of the airport.  Recent upgrades to Terminal A have been completed and Terminal B is scheduled to be reconstructed by 2014.

Connecticut Transit has buses that travel from the nearest Amtrak station in Windsor and from Hartford (Route #30).  A direct rail link for the airport is being discussed.

The airport has been growing since it first re-opened for commercial use after World War II.  It is an alternative to busier New York and Philadelphia airports.
